My name is NaShea Merritt

In 2009, I began my career in the medical field as a Medical Assistant in Family Practice setting.

In 2015, I completed my master's degree with a 4.0GPA in Healthcare Administration. This paved the way into becoming a Medical Assistant Professor at ECPI University in 2016.

In 2021, I resigned from ECPI University to spend the next few months with my grandfather during hospice.
​

In 2022, I returned to work managing travel nurses nationwide. Life circumstances put me in the path of several of my alumni students. All of which were excelling in the healthcare field.

In 2023, I returned to doing what I loved, teaching students to give the upmost care each and every day. I returned to ECPI University. I have been so fortunate to positively impacted numerous students' lives throughout my lifetime.

Currently ending 2025, life circumstance aroused again. My mother was hospitalized with a pulmonary embolism and septicemia. Throughout her care several issues presented themselves. It was disheartening yet realistic. I realized that my calling was is greater. To be the voice of those in need. To ensure that every patient receives the best of care available. No shortcuts. No excuses. Accountability and professionalism leading the care that we are all deserving of. You can trust that I will give you my best and nothing less.
